Bulk Gas Driver - CDL - Home Every Night!

Become part of our exceptional transportation team as a Class A CDL Bulk Gas Truck Driver, delivering liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon to customer locations in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. You will be responsible for safe and timely deliveries while maintaining safe and efficient vehicles. This “home daily” position is ideal for the experienced tanker driver with strong customer service skills, a commitment to safety, and a desire to take ownership of an important regional route. Hazmat, tanker, and airbrake endorsements are required, along with a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Review gas inventory levels with the Corporate Transportation Manager to establish daily delivery priorities and route schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT vehicle inspections on tractor trailer units, cryogenic tankers, valves, pressure relief systems, and insulation integrity.
• Conduct product quality analysis, verify delivery quantities, and complete required transport documentation and customer paperwork accurately.
• Transport and deliver inert cryogenic gas products safely to commercial customer locations across the regional route.
• Connect delivery hoses, manage bulk tank fills, and monitor pressure and flow rates on truck tankers and customer storage tanks according to strict safety protocols.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and business associates, obtaining signatures and delivering strong customer service.
• Track inventory levels using telemetry systems, TrackAbout, and mobile fleet technologies.
• Report mechanical issues, schedule preventive maintenance, and maintain vehicle roadworthiness to prevent downtime.
• Resolve daily route and operational challenges, escalating complex logistics issues to management promptly.
• Participate actively in safety training, fleet safety meetings, and strict adherence to Department of Transportation standards and OSHA rules.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by management to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active Class A Commercial Driver's License in good standing with clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Required CDL endorsements including Tanker, Hazardous Materials, and Air Brakes.
• Experience operating Class A CDL tractor trailer equipment and bulk liquid transport tankers is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation safety regulations, hazardous materials transport rules, and pre-trip inspection standards.
• Experience handling cryogenic liquids, compressed gases, hose connections, and bulk tank pressure management preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking software, telemetry systems, and TrackAbout asset management tools.
• Strong communication skills and a professional focus on customer service and route reliability.
• Ability to work a home daily regional driving schedule covering southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
