Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on die cast machinery and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Work with die cast tooling, microswitches, machine cycles, auto ladles, and reciprocators.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and troubleshooting.
• Repair hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, tubing, and fittings.
• Perform welding, fabrication, drilling, tapping, and general machine shop work.
• Assist with furnace operation, thermocouple fabrication, and die cast machine setup.
• Maintain support equipment including pumps, air compressors, HVAC systems, and wastewater systems.
• Perform general building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, electrical safety, and other required training.
• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or welding work.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to manage multiple tasks.
