About the Role:
Paradise Pools Supply & Service Inc is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team in Melbourne, FL! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key behind-the-scenes role in a thriving pool supply and service business. If you love keeping things running smoothly and have a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
- Perform bookkeeping duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records
- Handle customer invoicing, billing, and payment processing
- Coordinate scheduling for pool service technicians and field staff
- Manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, and inventory tracking for pool supplies
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and provide front-office support
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office management
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and general ledger practices
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor
- Experience in the pool, home services, or trades industry is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage competing priorities
