Job type – 6-12 months contract with possible extension

Role Overview

We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable individuals to join our manufacturing team as Assembler. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to begin or develop their careers in medical device manufacturing and production operations.

In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly tasks, work with precision components, follow established procedures, and contribute to the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations in accordance with established work instructions and production standards.
  • Assemble small components and subassemblies using hand tools, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Follow visual aids, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operate and navigate multiple computer screens and systems to support production activities.
  • Conduct continuity checks and basic quality inspections on work in progress and completed products.
  • Identify and report product defects, equipment malfunctions, or process abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform disassembly, rework, modification, and reassembly of components as required.
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and productivity while meeting established quality and production targets.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and workplace policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support daily manufacturing goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precision-oriented tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including comfort navigating multiple screens, keyboards, and software systems.
  • Ability to work with small components and perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Willingness to learn new processes, tools, and manufacturing techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in medical device assembly, manufacturing, production, packaging, or quality inspection.
  • Familiarity with microscopes, precision tools, or small-part assembly.
  • Experience working in a controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of production procedures, quality standards, or manufacturing documentation.
