Local CDL Driver

We need a driver with a Class E or above license. They need to be able to drive a 26’ box truck with automatic transmission and air brakes. They also need to know how to operate a lift gate but we can teach them if they don’t know how. Preferably we are looking for someone who is familiar with the greater Kansas City area on both the Missouri and Kansas side. The job is a Monday through Friday. Monday thru Thursday is 7:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some product we deliver on pallets but a lot is two-wheel freight. working independently to ensure timely and safe transportation. This role emphasizes safety compliance, efficient route navigation, and reliable driving performance within a regular shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and efficiently on local routes
• Navigate assigned routes ensuring timely deliveries
• Comply with all safety and transportation regulations
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
• Manage schedules to meet shift requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in commercial driving and dump truck operation
• Valid CDL or class E driving license
• Strong route navigation skills
• Effective time management
• Good communication and dependability
