Location: Downriver Region, MI 48183
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.50/hour

About the Role
WOW! Stores is seeking an experienced, hands-on Retail Operations Manager to lead daily store operations and ensure strong staffing, customer service, inventory control, cash management, cleanliness, and overall performance.
You will report to the General Manager and directly lead Assistant Store Managers and retail staff.

- Management experience in convenience retail and fuel operations
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Experience with scheduling, staffing, inventory, and cash handling
- Ability to manage multiple shifts and changing priorities
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, professional, hands-on, and accountable
- Convenience-store & fuel experience is required
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations, staffing, and scheduling
- Manage and develop Assistant Store Managers and employees
- Recruit, train, coach, and hold employees accountable
- Manage inventory, ordering, merchandising, and product availability
- Maintain proper cash controls, deposits, and loss-prevention procedures
- Ensure the store is clean, stocked, organized, and customer-ready
- Maintain strong customer service and store standards
- Monitor sales, labor, inventory, shrink, and operational performance
- Ensure company policies, safety, and compliance procedures are followed
- Identify problems and take corrective action quickly
Schedule
Full-time management position requiring flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
