Job Summary:
A CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist position is available in Wausau, WI. This role involves performing advanced imaging procedures using GE and Siemens scanners in a healthcare setting. The technician will work primarily on varied shifts, including rotating schedules, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care while adhering to safety and procedural standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Wausau, WI
- Position: CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with varied start times between 0600-1230 PM, approximately 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Certifications: ARRT CT, WI State licensure, BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications required).
- Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Certificate. Preferred education is a Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years CT experience.
- Charting Experience: Epic preferred.
- Skillset: Experience with GE and Siemens scanners is required.
- Additional Information:
- Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change effectively.
- Candidates should be social and adaptable.
- The role may require floating to facilities in Merrill, Antigo, Medford, or Stanley if needed.
- May be required to work holidays every other week.
- During Flu Season, unvaccinated travelers must wear a mask at all times; non-compliance may result in corrective action.
- Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed.
- On-call responsibilities may be assigned for low census hours, counting towards unbillable hours with minimum 2 hours call back pay.
