Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) who is focused on providing excellent care to residents and their families. The ideal candidate will be a team builder, eager to contribute to a positive facility culture.
This role demands strong collaboration skills and effective communication, as you will be responsible for evaluating and developing occupational therapy treatment programs tailored to meet the needs of customers and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations to assess the needs of residents.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance resident care.
- Engage with families to support the therapeutic process.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a long-term care (LTC) setting.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Texas or a compact license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
