Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (with occasional day coverage) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and Postpartum units during night shifts
• Participate in call shifts as scheduled — expected 6–8 call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to obstetric patients throughout all stages of labor and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support maternal and neonatal outcomes
• Provide occasional day shift coverage as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or a qualifying compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum/OB nursing required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a community or critical access hospital setting
• Comfort with rotating call responsibilities and variable scheduling
• Ability to adapt to both night and occasional day shift coverage
