Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery and postpartum patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 throughout assigned shifts
• Float between like units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery and postpartum experience required — first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Prior experience working in a high-volume acute care labor and delivery environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
