Production Supervisor

Our Client is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Fort Valley, GA facility. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' of supervisory experience within a Manufacturing or Textile environment. This role will oversee the activities of production in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the required quality and quantity of product is produced.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the manufacturing of product, while ensuring the plant runs in a safe, quality-conscious, clean, and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate time, production records, and ensure timely delivery of product.
• Meet established objectives as they pertain to the shift.
• Manage department priorities and complete appropriate production documentation.
• Review orders to ensure accuracy and verify that sufficient/correct components are staged to complete production run.
• Assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvement in productions methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
• Ensures the quality of the item being produced is manufacture to product specifications.
• Supervises, promotes, and enforces compliance of company policies/rules/procedures.
• Trains new hires and current employees in their assigned work.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of 3 years' of supervisory experience within a Manufacturing or Textile environment.
• Ability to oversee the activities of production in a safe and efficient manner
• Must be able to problem solve, execute solutions, and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Must exhibit teamwork and ability to coach, mentor, train, and develop a team.
• Ability to make suggestions that help cut cost, improve quality, and processes.
• Good computer skills to include the ability to create and update documents in MS Word and Excel is required.
