SUMMARY

 

The Production and Material Control Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of production personnel and all material control operations. He/She is responsible for supervising production employees and setting the production schedule. He/She is responsible for receiving incoming material and the packing and shipping of finished product. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned when necessary.

 

  • Supervise production employees-task scheduling, manage PTO, employee training, and performance
  • Setup and manage production jobs for assigned production area
  • Receive incoming goods; verify product quality/quantities and process them into ERP system
  • General warehouse activities such as pallet handling and inventory stocking
  • Put material & products away in proper location or deliver to work cell
  • Preparation of label/labeling for sales orders and production
  • Pack and ship finished product for customer orders via packages & LTL
  • Use UPS Worldship/ShipStation and Cetec ERP system to ship products
  • Preparation of domestic LTL orders-order checking, packing slip preparation, pallet labeling, carrier scheduling and documents, etc.
  • Manage raw material inventory
  • Must follow company’s quality systems procedures relating to operations, as well as all safety rules and regulations

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         High School diploma or equivalent preferred

·         Ability to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish

·         Strong organizational and communication skills

·         Computer skills (Microsoft Office & Google Workspace products)

·         Physical requirements include bending, lifting and climbing step stool or step ladder. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and use a pallet jack.

·         Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred
