Physician Assistant Certified

The Certified Physician Assistant will support orthopedic care for a mixed-age patient population. This role will assess patients, support diagnosis and treatment planning, manage prescriptions, assist with procedures, provide education and follow-up care, surgical assistant and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess orthopedic patients across a mixed-age population.
• Perform physical examinations and support diagnosis.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Manage prescriptions in accordance with clinical plans and applicable requirements.
• Educate patients about conditions, treatments, and ongoing care.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures and provide follow-up care.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• State physician assistant license.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in physician assistant practice.
• Clinical assessment and differential diagnosis skills.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and team collaboration skills.
