HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Kansas City, Kansas. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality therapy services to adult and geriatric patients while working alongside a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Position Details

• Location: Kansas City, KS

• Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical needs

• Provide therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in the SNF setting

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members

• Participate in care planning and team meetings to support optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license (Kansas or eligible)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required

• Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required

• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
