Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A prominent closed-door mail order pharmacy specializing in compounded hormone replacement therapy (HRT), veterinary medications, and fertility treatments is seeking skilled pharmacy technicians to support their growing team. This opportunity offers a contract with the potential to convert to a direct hire position, providing room for career advancement within a specialized pharmacy setting.

Position Types Available:

  • Non-sterile/Sterile Compounding Technician
  • Data Entry/Patient Support Technician
  • Fulfillment/Production Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Some Saturday rotations included

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and compound non-sterile and sterile prescriptions ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Manage data entry tasks including patient support documentation and order processing
  • Fulfill and produce pharmaceutical orders efficiently, maintaining compliance with pharmacy protocols
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to maintain smooth workflow and timely medication dispensing

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Previous pharmacy technician experience, particularly in compounding environments, is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of non-sterile and sterile compounding techniques preferred for compounding technician role
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software and accurate data entry skills essential for data entry/patient support role
  • Attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict safety and quality protocols
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or licensure as required by state regulations
