Travel Staff Pharmacist - Teton Village, Wyoming

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A well-established 49-bed hospital in Teton Village, WY is seeking an experienced pharmacist for an 8-week travel assignment with potential extension. This role offers a dynamic work environment supporting a small pharmacy team with currently two full-time pharmacists. The position is open due to a pharmacist on FMLA until at least May, with interim support provided by the pharmacy director.

Responsibilities include managing medication dispensing and clinical services with a focus on inpatient pharmacy operations. The candidate will need to work closely within the team while maintaining continuity of care and adhering to hospital policies. Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy systems and Pyxis medication dispensing technology is essential.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 6:15 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday: 7:15 AM to 12:00 PM (on call after)
• Current staff work 10-hour shifts with approximately one weekend per month; scheduling flexibility is available.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Wyoming pharmacy license
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficient in Cerner and Pyxis systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal training
• One professional reference from a manager
