Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Galt, California

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacist position is available on a Per Diem basis in Galt, CA. This role requires a licensed pharmacist to accurately fill prescriptions processed through the pharmacy system, ensuring all prescriptions meet quality standards and patient safety protocols.

Schedule:

• First days: October 2 and October 5, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing

Responsibilities:

• Review and accurately fill prescriptions processed through the pharmacy’s system
• Utilize the integrated DUR system (NRx - QS/1) to perform drug utilization reviews
• Collaborate with pharmacy clerks to fully leverage system automation for DURs, ensuring thorough review and compliance
