Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification with valid Maryland licensure
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong skills in behavior assessment, data analysis, and behavior intervention planning
- Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for supporting students with a range of behavioral and learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for K-12 students
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and gather/interpret relevant data
- Provide consultation and ongoing support to school staff and student teams
- Deliver training and guidance to teachers, aides, and families regarding behavior interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP development, and progress reviews
- Maintain accurate and timely records to comply with district and regulatory requirements
- Support positive school climate and student engagement through evidence-based practices
