An established senior living community is seeking a Director of Nursing (Resident Care Director) to oversee clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide leadership for resident care services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse leader with a background in assisted living, skilled nursing, or memory care who is looking to make a meaningful impact on residents, families, and staff.

What You'll Do

✅ Lead all clinical operations within the community

✅ Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing and caregiving staff

✅ Ensure compliance with state regulations and community policies

✅ Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and service delivery

✅ Partner with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members

✅ Manage clinical quality initiatives and risk management efforts

✅ Maintain staffing effectiveness and support team engagement

✅ Participate in a 24/7 on-call leadership rotation

Required Qualifications

✔ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey

✔ Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in one or more of the following settings:

• Assisted Living
• Skilled Nursing
• Memory Care

✔ Prior management, leadership, or Director of Nursing experience in a healthcare setting

✔ Strong knowledge of senior living regulations and clinical best practices

✔ Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

✔ Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

✔ Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Resident Care Director, Health & Wellness Director, or Clinical Director

✔ Experience leading teams within Assisted Living or Memory Care communities

✔ Proven ability to improve clinical outcomes and staff engagement

✔ Experience with regulatory surveys and compliance initiatives
