Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Chicago, IL

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide your expertise as a Per Diem Pharmacist supporting a dynamic pharmacy team in Chicago. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient medication management during key shifts requiring skilled professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Friday, 3/20 — 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, 3/24 — 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, 3/27 — 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, 3/31 — 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Dispensing medications while maintaining compliance with safety standards
• Managing inventory to ensure medication availability
• Handling patient inquiries with professionalism and care
• Utilizing Pioneer Rx software to support pharmacy operations
• Collaborating closely with pharmacy technicians and team members to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with automation and dispensing robot technologies is highly preferred
• Strong pharmacy intuition with the ability to adapt to changing demands
• Tech-savvy with effective communication and teamwork skills
