We are looking for a Network Administrator to help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our technology environment in Savannah, Georgia. This role supports day-to-day network operations, resolves advanced technical issues, and keeps critical infrastructure running efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting ability, practical experience with enterprise networking equipment, and a proactive approach to maintaining secure and stable systems.
Responsibilities:
• Resolve advanced network incidents that are escalated beyond the initial support level, identifying root causes and restoring service in a timely manner.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and improve core networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
• Track network health and usage patterns through monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Carry out software, firmware, and configuration updates to maintain system performance, reliability, and security.
• Support network security efforts by applying patches, managing user and device access, and following established compliance standards.
• Administer IP addressing, subnet design, and related network configuration settings across the environment.
• Investigate and resolve connectivity, hardware, and performance problems affecting local and broader network operations.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering configurations, troubleshooting processes, and issue resolution details.
• Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and solutions effectively to both technical colleagues and non-technical users.• At least 3 years of experience in network administration, network support, or a closely related IT infrastructure role.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols used in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including routers and LAN infrastructure.
• Familiarity with firewall technologies, wireless networking, and practical network security standards.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments and diagnosing performance or connectivity issues.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and explaining technical information to diverse audiences.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco credentials are preferred.
