Openings: 2 per diem positions
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Type: Per diem contract position, with potential to convert to full time

Serve Those Who Served

All Med Staffing is hiring two Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses for per diem assignments at VA Palo Alto Health Care System. You'll provide hands-on care to geriatric veterans as part of an experienced RN and physician-led team. These are flexible roles, and strong performers may be considered for full-time placement on a long-term, multi-year federal contract.

What You'll Do

• Perform basic patient assessments and take vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Assist veterans with activities of daily living
• Provide wound care and collect specimens
• Document care in the VA electronic health record
• Support infection control and patient safety standards

Schedule

• Per diem shifts based on facility need: days, evenings, or rotating
• Primarily Monday through Friday, with possible weekends
• Your first assignment is at Menlo Park, with possible rotation to the Palo Alto main campus and other VAPAHCS sites

What You Need

• An active LVN or LPN license in any U.S. state
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care
• Ability to pass a VA background check and credentialing
