Qualifications

• Ability to read and write
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience working in varying weather elements; quarry experience preferred
• Experienced with operating/maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Primary operations of front end loaders, dozers, backhoes, grader, excavators and skid steer loaders
• Operating mobile equipment based on quarry operational requirements
• Inspect all operating equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems
• Correct malfunctions or irregularities of operating equipment
• Maintain strong communication with quality personnel and adjust material blends as required
