We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to support daily recruiting and HR operations for a long-term contract assignment in Connecticut. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, front-facing environment and can manage a high volume of administrative work with accuracy and consistency. The position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to contribute to hiring, onboarding, and employee support while working closely with internal HR teams.

Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support for human resources activities, maintaining organized records and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Assist with recruitment coordination by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting the hiring process from initial outreach through onboarding.
• Serve as a front-desk or front-facing HR contact, responding to routine employee and candidate inquiries in a thorough and helpful manner.
• Use HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications to enter, update, track, and report employee and recruiting information accurately.
• Prepare onboarding materials and help facilitate pre-employment steps, including required screening processes and documentation.
• Support employee relations administration by routing questions appropriately, documenting interactions, and helping maintain compliance with HR procedures.
• Create and manage spreadsheets, correspondence, and other HR-related documents using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Contribute to special administrative projects and assist with client-required pre-placement activities as needed before a candidate starts.• Prior experience in human resources support, recruiting coordination, or a closely related administrative role.
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a detail-oriented, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee or candidate records.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes, background checks, and general HR documentation.
• Comfortable working in a fully onsite, front-facing position that requires professionalism and strong interpersonal communication.
• Solid understanding of core HR practices, employee relations support, and confidentiality expectations.
