Occupational Therapist School Setting in Aurora, CO

This onsite contract opportunity runs from November 1st through May 21, 2027, with a consistent schedule of three days per week. Requirements:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license
• CDE credential required; candidates with an active CDE application and proof will be considered
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Passion for working with children in an educational context
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their participation in school routines and daily activities
• Evaluate students’ needs using standardized assessments and clinical observation
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop educational strategies and accommodations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs
• Document services and progress according to regulatory guidelines
• Deliver consultative support to staff to promote positive outcomes for students
