Special Education Teacher | Fremont, California

You’ll work closely with a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) caseload, utilizing your expertise to foster an inclusive, supportive environment for students with unique learning needs.

What you’ll need:

• Active California Education Specialist Credential (required)
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), accommodations, and modifications
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, families, and administrators
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting preferred

Your daily impact:

• Provide direct instruction and support to a 1x RSP caseload
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans adapted to student needs
• Write, update, and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
• Foster a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere that champions student growth and inclusion
• Work closely with families to ensure student success and strong lines of communication
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
