Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist IV Certified in Bessemer, AL

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a licensed Pharmacist with IV certification to provide per diem coverage in the Birmingham, AL area. This contract position offers the chance to utilize your expertise in home infusion and IV/TPN verification within a fast-paced setting.

Location:

• Bessemer, AL (just south of Birmingham)

Schedule/Hours:

• Wednesday, September 2 through Friday, September 4
• Shift: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately checking and verifying IV/TPN preparations
• Ensuring compliance with protocols and safety standards
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to support patient care
• Utilizing CareTend system for documentation and verification

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current and active Alabama Pharmacist license in good standing
• IV certification strongly preferred
• Prior experience with home infusion pharmacy or inpatient pharmacy involving IV/TPN checking
• Familiarity with CareTend system is a plus
