Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob Description

This role provides medium industrial services in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including carton picking, shrink-wrapping pallets, and moving palletized materials using material handling equipment. The position requires frequent physical activity, such as bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling, as well as the ability to safely operate pallet jacks and accurately follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform carton picking and order picking with accuracy, including locating, selecting, and preparing products for shipment.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, lift, twist, push, and pull while handling cartons and palletized materials.
  • Shrink-wrap pallets securely to ensure products are stabilized and ready for transport.
  • Move palletized materials safely and efficiently using manual and electric pallet jacks.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas as directed.
  • Use RF scanners to scan, track, and verify inventory and orders.
  • Follow established warehouse processes and safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Read and interpret work orders, labels, and other documentation to complete tasks correctly.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
  • Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies promptly.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Comfort with frequent physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Basic reading and writing skills to understand work orders, labels, and instructions.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and follow direction.
  • Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order verification.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking, loading, and unloading of materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience with order picking, loading, and unloading in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with standard warehouse processes and safety practices.
  • Ability to work reliably and consistently in a structured, production-focused environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
