Job Summary

A downtown Orlando law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney for a direct hire opportunity. This role is well suited for an independent, detail-oriented, and motivated litigation attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience who is ready to manage civil liability matters, prepare cases for trial, and work directly with clients in a professional legal services environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Investigate, evaluate, and defend civil liability matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
- Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and support discovery strategy.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reports, and other litigation-related documents.
- Argue hearings and assist with preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, settlement, or trial.
- Communicate regularly with clients, provide case updates, and prepare clear reporting materials.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff while managing deadlines and case priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
