Yard Worker | RUSSELL

The Yard Hand position is more focused on outdoor equipment, loading trucks/railcars, and moving materials.

• Pay: $21/hour

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, 7 AM–7 PM or 7 PM–7 AM

• Rotation: 2 days on, 2 off, 3 on; then 2 off, 2 on, 3 off

• Education: High school diploma/GED required.

• Operate a front-end loader, Bobcat, SkyTrak and Trackmobile

• Load trucks and railcars

• Weigh incoming/outgoing trucks

• Perform grain testing for moisture, protein and aflatoxin

• Fuel, inspect and maintain equipment

• Clean the yard and work areas

• Complete checklists and production/shipping records

• Assist plant operators when needed

• Work around moving equipment and outdoors in varying weather

• Lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders
