Site Manager

Sacramento, CA Direct Hire | Contract Assignment Compensation: Up to $175,000 Annually + Retention Bonus

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a large-scale logistics and distribution operation in the Sacramento area. This position will provide overall operational leadership for the facility, overseeing multiple operational departments, ensuring safety, productivity, customer satisfaction, and successful execution of strategic business objectives.

This role is ideal for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in warehouse, logistics, transportation, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all facility operations
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives
• Lead and develop operations managers, supervisors, and support teams
• Drive operational performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction
• Oversee workforce planning, staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
• Ensure compliance with all company, customer, regulatory, and safety requirements
• Build a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and operational excellence
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth and operational success

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, transportation, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
• Experience leading large teams through multiple layers of management
• Strong background managing high-volume operations
• Proven success driving KPIs, productivity, quality, service, and safety performance
• Experience managing large-scale operational budgets and resource planning
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies preferred
• Experience with ERP, WMS, SAP, or similar enterprise systems preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
