Press Brake Operator – 3rd Shift - Weekend
HireCall is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our valued client’s Evening Team. This is a hands-on opportunity to produce high-quality sheet metal components using state-of-the-art CNC press brake equipment in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Pay: $19.44 – $24.00 per hour + 11.5% shift premium
Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6AM - 6PM
Enjoy a four-day workweek and three-day weekends every week!
Qualifications
- Previous press brake, fabrication, or metal-forming experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Required Tools
Employees must own or be willing to purchase:
- Certified 12" caliper
- Tape measure
- Angle finder
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC hydraulic press brake equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, sketches, and work instructions
- Select and install the correct punches, dies, and tooling
- Load and run CNC programs independently
- Produce precision parts that meet tight-tolerance specifications
- Deburr and finish parts as needed
- Inspect completed work for quality
- Use materials efficiently to minimize scrap and waste
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
Physical Requirements
Approximately 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while operating equipment, inspecting work, and following procedures.
- Move materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds
- Use lifting devices whenever possible
- Lift, pull, push, and hold parts in place
- Some material handling may be required without mechanical assistance due to limited space around machinery
