Human Resources Specialist - National City, CA
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join a growing organization in National City, CA. This position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting employees, managing day-to-day HR operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Support daily HR operations, including employee records, onboarding, offboarding, and personnel documentation
  • Assist with recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and coordinating onboarding
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and other internal systems
  • Assist with leave of absence, attendance, and employee status updates
  • Support benefits administration and employee enrollment processes
  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation as needed
  • Ensure HR processes and documentation remain compliant with company policies and applicable employment regulations
  • Partner with managers and employees to resolve routine HR-related questions and concerns
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, company events, and other HR projects
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, HR administration, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of HR processes, including onboarding, employee records, benefits, and recruiting support
  • Experience working with an HRIS and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information professionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented approach
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
Assignment Details:
  • Contract to hire role
  • Onsite
  • Located in National City, San Diego
  • Compensation: $27.00- $34.00 per hour DOE
  • Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
