Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel)

Location

Longview, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2
• Float to HVU and PCU as needed, with a patient ratio of 1:4 in those units
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients in a 24-bed ICU plus 2 recovery beds
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (currently Medhost, converting to Cerner)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (applicable to practice in Texas)
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU / Critical Care experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Medhost or Cerner EMR systems
• Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care environment
• Familiarity with HVU or PCU float assignments
