Contract | Days | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting at a Critical Access Hospital, with the expectation to float to the Emergency Room as needed
• Adapt to varying shift demands — some shifts may be more Med Surg-focused while others may involve a higher volume of ER patients
• Work collaboratively within a team that typically includes 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 staff secretary on the floor
• Utilize Athena as the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Maintain patient ratios, typically around 1:3, with a maximum of 5:1

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas state license or multistate (Compact) RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications — all must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• Ability and willingness to work in both Med Surg and Emergency Room environments within a Critical Access Hospital
• No mileage/radius restrictions — all candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers will be considered
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred; candidates with under 3 years of experience may be considered
• Familiarity with Athena EMR
