Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, applying scientific nursing principles across a broad range of medical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Interact professionally with patients and visitors while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice
• Adapt to a variety of health conditions and patient populations; may be required to float to a different unit or alternate campus as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submittal
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU/CCU required
• Must live at least 150 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive screen, including CBD products

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Altera charting system preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
