Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel)

Location

Longview, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU setting, maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Float to HVU and PCU as needed, with a patient ratio of 1:4 in those units
• Deliver critical care nursing services to acutely ill patients in a fast-paced environment
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system (Medhost, transitioning to Cerner)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure (must be valid and in good standing)
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU / Critical Care experience required
• Ability to start as soon as possible
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Medhost or Cerner EMR systems
• Experience floating to step-down or progressive care units
• Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in a high-acuity environment
