Travel RN – IMCU / Progressive Care (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: October 5, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Progressive Care unit with a patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:4
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, BiPAP, and trach vent support
• Assist with or support procedures including chest tube insertion
• Document patient care accurately using the Expanse EMR system
• Float to IMCU and Stroke department as needed
• Participate in expected weekend shift coverage (approximately 4 weekend shifts per contract period)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas (or Compact license)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in IMCU, Progressive Care, or ICU Step-Down

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and 3% Saline drip management
• Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down environment
• Flexible, team-oriented, and positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
