Build a focused Head & Neck oncology and reconstructive practice within an established regional program.

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon with microvascular reconstructive expertise to join the Western New York Head & Neck Center at Rochester General Hospital.

Join an established Head & Neck oncology program serving a regional population of more than one million, with the surgical infrastructure, referral network and multidisciplinary support to build a focused practice in complex Head & Neck cancer care and reconstruction.

The Opportunity

  • Join two fellowship-trained Head & Neck surgeons in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment

  • Build a focused practice in Head & Neck cancer surgery and microvascular reconstruction

  • Benefit from a strong regional and local referral network

  • Develop additional niche or subspecialty interests within Head & Neck surgery

  • Limited general ENT call with advanced practice provider support, allowing greater focus on complex Head & Neck care

  • Collaborate with and receive informal mentorship from experienced Head & Neck surgeons

  • Practice within an established program with access to the ancillary services needed to support advanced oncologic care

Built to Support Complex Head & Neck Care

Your practice will be based at Rochester General Hospital, where you'll have access to the Sands-Constellation Tower, modern operating rooms, and dedicated Head & Neck surgical ICU and step-down support.

The physician team is supported by:

  • Three office-based ENT-trained PAs

  • One full-time hospital-based Head & Neck PA

  • Multidisciplinary and ancillary services supporting complex oncologic care

  • Established regional and local referral relationships

This clinical infrastructure and dedicated APP support provide an environment where you can focus your practice on complex Head & Neck oncology and reconstructive surgery while working alongside an experienced team.

What We're Looking For

  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery

  • Completion of a Head & Neck Surgery fellowship with microvascular reconstructive training

  • Eligible for New York State medical licensure
