Assignment Overview
We are seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with a focus on electrophysiology to perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with electrophysiology cases, particularly ablations. This role requires a skilled professional to assist physicians during procedures and effectively operate imaging equipment.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days, 4 - 10-hour shifts, with 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend every 4th weekend
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- On-call: Yes, 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Location: Illinois
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3750 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures
- Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor and pass instruments and catheters
- Observe patient response to procedures
- Maintain sterile field
- Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of experience
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Experience with electrophysiology cases, including ablations
- Applicable Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited radiology technology program
- IL License
Preferred:
- Special procedures experience
