Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | Days, Evenings, Mixed (Rotating Weekends)
Shift & Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Compensation
Starting Rate: $30.34/hour.
Maximum Rate: $42.47/hour.
Compensation is based on experience.
Facility Overview
Join a 380-bed acute-care hospital in Fort Pierce offering a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services. The facility is home to an experienced Heart Institute providing interventional and therapeutic cardiac care, including open-heart surgery. Services include labor and delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency care, diagnostic services, and inpatient and outpatient surgery.
The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Level II Trauma Center, with a CARF-accredited Physical Rehabilitation Center. It also provides the area's only Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units and operates a freestanding emergency department in Vero Beach.
Qualifications & Requirements
Associate Degree required.
Active State Registered Radiologic Technician license.
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) required.
ACLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
BLS/BCLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
Responsibilities
Perform technical procedures involving ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes.
Follow ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety standards during all procedures.
Operate and regulate imaging equipment used for diagnostic procedures.
Prepare, organize, and maintain imaging materials and diagnostic records.
Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and quality imaging results.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and patient-care needs.
Maintain compliance with departmental procedures, radiation safety requirements, and applicable professional standards.
