The Ability to Make a Lasting Impact on Residents and Families
Deliver high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Assist residents with gait training, mobility exercises, transfers, strengthening activities, and therapeutic interventions.
Implement individualized treatment plans designed to help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards.
Educate residents and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies to maximize independence.
Maintain a safe and effective therapy environment.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current PTA license in the State of Florida.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
