Hybrid 4 days onsite in Berwyn, PA
Our client seeks an Application Support professional focused on Tier 2 and Tier 3 level production support. The role requires reading Java code, troubleshooting failures, investigating production issues, performing root cause analysis, recommending fixes, and collaborating with engineering. The position is not a production monitoring analyst role and is intended to grow into engineering responsibilities over time.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Read and interpret Java code to support applications.
- Troubleshoot code failures and production defects.
- Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Recommend fixes and partner with engineering for implementation.
- Create and run SQL queries to support investigations.
- Leverage scripting for diagnostics and automation.
- Support enterprise systems in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 capacity.
- 1 to 3 years in application support or production support.
- 3 to 10 years in full stack engineering is beneficial.
- Hands-on Java and SQL experience.
- Proficiency with debugging and root cause analysis.
- Scripting experience for tooling or automation.
- Background supporting enterprise-scale applications.
