Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, imaging quality, and radiation safety.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience.
New York State Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT).
Active New York State LRT License.
ARRT Certification.
Graduate of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Associate's Degree.
English: Read, Write, Speak.

Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including positioning and use of immobilization devices.
Adjust equipment and exposure factors for radiographic procedures.
Apply radiation protection techniques, including beam restriction and patient shielding.
Follow infection-control policies and procedures.
Produce and maintain high-quality radiographic images.
Process radiographs and make necessary adjustments.
Document patient-care services and verify completed examinations.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot radiology equipment.
Follow manufacturer instructions and arrange equipment repairs when necessary.
Maintain radiology equipment inventories and supplies.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Maintain required CME and professional knowledge.
Complete annual Age-Specific Competency requirements.
Perform other X-Ray Technologist duties as assigned.
