MN State Electrician - Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p M-F, $45.35/hr)

MN STATE ELECTRICIAN - DAY SHIFT

Shakopee, MN (Twin Cities southwest metro) | Full-time, direct hire

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay: $45.35/hour starting

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

An established manufacturer is adding a licensed electrician to the maintenance team at its Shakopee plant. You will own the inspection, repair, installation and wiring of electrical and electronic equipment and circuits of any voltage across the facility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Inspect, repair, install and wire all electrical and electronic apparatus, devices and circuits of any voltage in the plant

- Analyze verbal explanations, drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine what repair or installation is needed

- Dismantle, inspect, repair and replace faulty components including motors, switches, control panels, generators and circuit breakers

- Work on energized circuits as required

- Measure, cut, bend, thread and install conduit, fittings and wiring

- Install equipment for new installations and relocate electrical facilities when equipment moves

- Install temporary wiring as needed

- Test and adjust equipment to confirm safe operation

WHAT YOU NEED

- Minnesota State Licensed Master Electrician OR Minnesota State certified (licensed) electrician. This is a hard requirement.

- Industrial or plant maintenance electrical experience

- Ability to read and work from drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications

- Comfort troubleshooting motors, controls, panels and power distribution

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Industrial manufacturing plant. Day shift, Monday to Friday.
