Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Location: Margate, FL

Pay Rate: Starting at $62.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:30 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to support a leading healthcare organization in Margate, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for an imaging professional with Special Procedures and Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and special procedures.

   

• Prepare the Cath Lab, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.

   

• Assist physicians and the cardiac care team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

   

• Operate and assist with specialized imaging equipment while following established protocols.

   

• Demonstrate competency with GE Innova imaging systems.

   

• Maintain a safe and sterile procedural environment.

   

• Follow radiation safety standards and appropriate infection-control procedures.

   

• Monitor equipment and supplies to ensure the Cath Lab is prepared for procedures.

   

• Assist with patient positioning and preparation before, during, and after procedures.

   

• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the healthcare team.

   

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental policies and procedures.

   

• Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent situations within the Cath Lab.

   

• Participate in scheduled weekday and weekend on-call coverage.

   

• Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-focused care throughout the procedure.

   

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.

   

• ACLS certification required.

   

• BLS certification required.

   

• Previous experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Special Procedures required.

   

• Must be competent in Special Procedures.

   

• Experience with GE Innova is required.

   

• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging procedures.

   

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

   

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.

   

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

   

• Ability to participate in weekday and every-other-weekend on-call rotation. 
• Preferred: Strong Cardiac Cath Lab, Special Procedures, and GE Innova experience will be given preference.
