Process Batching Specialist (Industrial Blending)

What You’ll Do

• Study approved formulas and recipes, then gather and stage ingredients in the correct sequence.
• Weigh and meter both dry and liquid components using calibrated scales and equipment.
• Confirm lot codes, expiration dates, and quantities before any addition.
• Run industrial mixers, water meters, and controls safely and effectively.
• Watch for hydration, temperature, and development targets; adjust speeds, times, or additions as directed.
• Discharge completed batches into designated troughs or hoppers without loss or contamination.
• Perform quality checks and immediately report inconsistencies or equipment concerns.
• Complete batch sheets, mixer logs, and lot-tracking forms; record weights, temperatures, times, deviations, and corrections.
• Enter production information into tablets or digital systems accurately and on time.
• Keep your workspace clean and assist with equipment cleaning and changeovers.
• Adhere to GMP, allergen-control, food-safety, sanitation, PPE, and workplace-safety standards.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to read and follow recipes, formulas, and written instructions precisely.
• Basic math for weighing, conversions, and portioning.
• Strong attention to detail in measurement, lot tracking, and documentation.
• Comfort working around industrial production equipment.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work in variable temperatures with machinery noise.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and team communication.
• Availability for assigned shift and, when needed, up to six days per week.

Bonus Points

• Experience with industrial mixers/kettles.
• Food manufacturing, batching, blending, or ingredient-processing background.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Pay, Schedule, and Employment Type

• Pay: $18.00–$26.00/hour (based on verified experience and skills).
• Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
