About the Role:
Hyatt Place St. Paul is looking for an energetic and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team in the heart of Saint Paul, MN! This is your chance to craft memorable experiences for guests while working in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to hotel guests and bar patrons
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area at all times
• Greet guests warmly, take drink and food orders, and provide exceptional customer service
• Process payments accurately using the POS system
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure a seamless dining and bar experience
• Uphold Hyatt brand standards and hotel policies in all guest interactions

Requirements:

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Valid Minnesota alcohol server certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per Minnesota state law
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
