Part‑Time Optometrist (1099 Contractor)

Location: Evansville, IN

Schedule: 1–2 weekdays per month

Compensation: $1,100/day 

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a mission‑driven Optometrist to join our mobile clinical team in Evansville, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an OD who values meaningful patient interactions, flexible scheduling, and low‑frequency supplemental work.

• Provide comprehensive eye exams to residents in long‑term care and community-based settings

• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care with full support from a trained clinical assistant

• Document findings and coordinate referrals for glaucoma or other conditions outside routine scope

• Work independently with predictable scheduling and no administrative burden

• 1–2 days per month — ideal for ODs seeking supplemental income

• All equipment provided

• Assistant onsite (trained by CMC)

• No weekends, no call

• Meaningful, mission-driven work with underserved populations

• Predictable, low‑stress environment

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree

• Active Indiana license

• Comfortable working with elderly patients, including those with dementia

• Strong communication and patient‑care skills

• Malpractice coverage (or willingness to obtain)
