Registered Nurse (RN) - Now Hiring

WCS Healthcare Partners is working with a correctional facility in Wallkill, NY to hire a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an evening shift opportunity. This position offers the chance to provide quality healthcare services in a secure clinical environment while making a meaningful impact on patient care.

• Perform nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient conditions
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and healthcare staff to coordinate care
• Assist with intake screenings, chronic disease management, and health education
• Adhere to facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
• Experience in correctional health, emergency room, medical-surgical, behavioral health, or long-term care is highly preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Consistent schedule available
• Potential for additional shifts
